Polk County exists in the state of Arkansas. A local census found that Polk County had a total population of 19,221 in 2020. The county seat is Mena.

It was formed in 1844.

It was named for James Polk, President of the United States.

NOTE - There are many rules that need to be followed in order for Polk County requesters to obtain records. Any individual must visit between 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. CST from Monday to Friday to obtain records in-person in Polk County. If a requester wishes to get hold of files, they must bring some form of photo identification. Both driver's licenses and state IDs would suffice.
