Sevier County exists in the state of Arkansas. A local census found that Sevier County had 15,839 people in 2020. De Queen is the current county seat in Sevier County.

It was formed in 1828.

It was named for Ambrose Sevier, U.S. Senator from Arkansas. He was an attorney, politician, and planter from Arkansas.

Sevier County Criminal Records

Sevier County records their criminal activity in the form of criminal records. These records cover murders, rapes, burglaries, arson, motor vehicle theft, assaults, and crimes of a sexual nature. In Sevier County and across the whole state of Arkansas, the authorities are necessary to keep an up-to-date list of all arrest records. In Sevier County, locals can use a search tool in order to get access to the records. Anyone on release or in jail can be searched for using the e tool. Sevier County legally keeps current sex offender registers. Each and every offender living, working, attending school, or incarcerated in the Sevier County area must be on this list. Sevier County Public Records

In Arkansas state, documents called vital records are kept on each individual resident within the jurisdiction. All important life events are recorded in these documents. These reports can contain anything from births and deaths to marriages and divorces. Sevier County is, as well as other counties in the state, pivotal in the collection of these records for Arkansas. Nonetheless, records in Sevier County do come at a cost. Sevier County birth records cost $12 per first copy. Death records in Sevier County cost $10 for the first copy. First copies of marriage records cost $10 in Sevier County.

NOTE - If requesters want to obtain records face-to-face, they must follow various rules in Sevier County. Requesters must visit between 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. CST from Monday to Friday to get records in-person in Sevier County. To get hold of records in Sevier County, photo identification is needed.
